CIRCULARITY CONCEPT
Made from metal wires, this piece offers a huge value for the circularity concept which is essential for environmental sustainability. Circularity can be described as “a system which avoids waste and where something is used again and again". In a circular economy, products are designed to eliminate the concept of waste, by enabling the recovery and reuse of all materials at the highest value possible at all times. Once metal is produced, its lifecycle is potentially endless, it's also one of the most recycled materials on earth. As long as it is recovered after each product’s life cycle, it is a permanent resource in society. For recycling purposes, drop them off at the electronic recycling facility.
BrunnaCo is the Californian environmentally & socially sustainable fashion line established in 2017 by Helga Ida Ayu, a Balinese who lives in La Jolla. They are known for their island-hopping bags & fashion collection sourced directly from local artisans and farmers in Indonesian villages. BrunnaCo is a woman-owned company representing the voice of local artisans in Bali and other provinces of Indonesia who are primarily female artisans working from the comfort of their own home while nurturing their children and family. Their vision empowers local talents to preserve Indonesian culture and inspire today’s generation to benefit our environment through fashion.
In response to the pandemic that drastically changes the lives of many people, especially the artisans in the village, BrunnaCo wants to be sensible and supportive of each talented individual who recently lost their jobs. This year BrunnaCo releases their new organic apparel collections, and post-pandemic cover-up jacket collections made of certified recycled plastic. With more artisans behind their movement, BrunnaCo has become stronger than ever with bolder commitment to serve their clients with high quality sustainable fashion.
