To choose the right size for your Aurore bra, we recommend measuring yourself regularly, especially after a change in weight or pregnancy.

You will need to measure:

1. Bust size

The bust size is measured around the fullest part of the bust.

Place the tape at the fullest part of your bust. Make sure it’s parallel to your band again. Breath in and out to arrive at the comfortable measurement.

2. Ribcage size

The ribcage size is measured underneath the bust.

Wear a lightly lined (non-push-up) bra so your breasts are as close to natural as possible. Wrap a measuring tape directly under your breasts. Make sure it’s directly parallel with the bottom of the bra band. Breath in and out to arrive at the comfortable measurement.

3. Hip size

The hip size is measured at the fullest part.

4. Waist size

the waist size is measured at the thinnest part of your waist when breathing out.

Remember, wearing a bra should never result in the spillage or gaping in any area. A bra should fit you comfortably and allow you to move freely.

If you are experiencing:

  • Slipping straps: tighten your straps or try a smaller band size of the bra.

  • Digging straps: loosen your straps completely, if there is a pain in your neck, you may been a larger cup size.

  • Digging band: try looser setting, yet you might need a larger band size.

  • Band riding low: tighten your straps, if that doesn’t work for you, you band may be too big

  • Band riding high: you may need a bigger cup, but try loosening your straps

  • Spillage on top: you need a bigger cup size or the model with higher coverage

  • Side spillage: loosen your straps, if not helping, you need a bigger cup size

  • Under spillage: tide the hook closer, if that doesn’t help you can either reduce your band size or increase the cup size

  • Gaping cups/wrinkling cup: you need a smaller cup size

M 68-71 94-97
L 72-75 98-101
XL 76-79 102-105

And remember, same as with bras - if your bottoms are leaving the marks or result in the spillage, you are probably wearing the size too small. If your bottoms are slipping down or sidewards - that is a size too large large for you.

Slips, Nightdresses, Robes, Gowns & PJs

What size of dress are you comfortable in? That would be a good proxy to determine your size in this category! Make sure you have a look at the material that is used - silk is not stretchable, so we advise to go for a size one larger, especially if you feel that you might be tight in the breast or hip area. Tulle for instance stretches well and will snug your body at the size you usually wear. We do advise you not to go for smaller size for ultimate comfort. Remember - size is just a parameter we use to navigate you as producers, it’s not a beauty standard. Most important is that the item fits you well and you are comfortable in what you are wearing!
