About the Xuan 16K Gold-Plated Brass Buffalo Horn & Rattan/Wicker Geo Statement Earrings
This Xuan 16K Gold-Plated Brass Buffalo Horn & Rattan/Wicker Geo Statement Earrings features circular pieces made from ethically-sourced water buffalo horns, which is a by-product of waste, created using a chemical-free process, an organic material, and a one-of-a-kind piece. Attached to the horn pieces are diamond-shaped hand woven rattan (wicker/straw) pieces to create a darling dangle silhouette. Rattan is a climbing palm found in Southeast Asia; and similar to the strength and durability of bamboo, rattan has been used for many years to make baskets and trays. Our rattan is planted, harvested, sorted and dried carefully in the province of Nam Dinh, Vietnam. Its natural essences and textures creates a bohemian and earthy-chic look and feel -- a perfect item for the spring, summer, and fall seasons to go along with your floral dresses or even your plain tees and denim days.
Note: Since each rattan earrings is handmade in an all-natural material, expect slight variations in size, color, and pattern.

About Hathorway
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hathorway is an eco-conscious accessories brand defined by geometrical, yet minimalistic silhouettes. Every piece is designed by designer Jessica Phan, who wanted to reconnect with her Vietnamese heritage by preserving a 400-year-old craftsmanship which uses ethically-sourced buffalo horns, a material—like leather—that has been discarded from deadstock and the food industry in Vietnam. As an organic material, every piece will be completely one of a kind, each possessing its own exquisite colors and patterns. Hathorway is short for Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of love and beauty, known for her iconic headdress made of cow horns.
